For those who haven’t seen it yet, my game from 2022, The Unseen World, finally got a review on YouTube. It comes courtesy of The Dungeon Dive, a channel that focuses on fantasy/sci-fi/horror-themed tabletop games, from adventure board games to solo RPGs.

I’ve already gotten a lot of comments and messages from new players enjoying the game! Since the review, just a few days ago, The Unseen World has sold over 100 more copies. It might not sound like much, but hey, for a super niche game with an even more niche theme, it still feels like a win.
And I’ve gotten a couple of rules questions already. I’ll be trying to collect questions and feedback as I can, and if needed, compile a FAQ. Below are the questions that have come up, in case anyone else needs an answer.
Q: Does an Item’s bonus Evidence only apply to the Evidence collected with that Item?
A: Yes. The Evidence bonus only applies when using that specific item to collect Evidence. So, if you collect Visual Evidence, an Audio Item that has Evidence +1 won’t provide its bonus.
Q: Do shops only carry 1 of each Item in stock? Is it gone once bought?
A: No. Shops do not have limited inventory.
Q: Does the Town’s Unique Location take up one of its Location slots or is it in addition to those slots?
A: The Unique Location takes up a Location slot, just like other Town Locations. So if a Town has 2 Locations, one will be the Unique Location.
The real question is, does the game need a FAQ or a 2nd edition? I still have notes for things I would change or add, but it’s probably still too early to say right now. I’m still working on other projects that will hopefully have news before long. Keep your eyes peeled!
