A Quick Update

Just a quick update on a couple of things.

Winds of the North

Winds of the North is just around the corner! I’m looking at a release later this week if everything works out.

Patreon

I’ve also decided to start a Patreon. I don’t expect it to be that big, but I’m going in to try it out, experiment, and see what works. I’m always open to trying out different avenues.

Playtests

The plan right now is to use Patreon as a more focused way to build a consistent community of interested playtesters and readers. For playtesting, there will still be later public playtests (because there’s never enough playtesting!), but I wanted to experiment with something that’s hopefully more active and consistent. Patreon supporters will get to see things earlier, maybe much earlier, and might even see things that never get finished. You can expect the first playtest materials for something to show up very soon.

Fiction

There will also be early reads available of my writing, short stories, and chapters of a novella and novel I’m working on. If you enjoy fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and historical fiction, you’ll have a lot to check out. The first short story, The Túrrea Executions, is already available.
